Use Sodium bicarbonate(Baking Soda)
Baking soda is an anti-inflammatory agent and smoothens the skin preventing bumps from appearing or skin irritations when shaving. All you have to do is to mix one cup of water with a teaspoon of baking soda and apply it on the affected area especially after shaving.
Allow the mixture to remain on the area for about three to five minutes and rinse the area with some cold water to close the pores. The burning sensation and redness should disappear after a short period of time. This action can be repeated twice a day.
Do not shave every day
Be sure not to shave so often. This allows the hair to grow a bit and will give time for the irritation to heal. If you can, try shaving once every three days. Daily shaving will only cause the irritation to get worse and not allow sufficient time to heal completely.
Use Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and is great at moisturizing and healing the skin in the most sensitive areas. In addition, it does not smell bad like other post shave treatments such as glycolic and salicylic acids, and is very compatible with all skin types.
Apply some fresh aloe vera gel on the affected area, wait for the product to dry and then rinse with cold water. Repeat the same process two to three times a day.

Use Apple Cider Vinegar
If you have skin rash or irritation after shaving, you can soak a little cotton in apple cider vinegar and rub it on the affected area. This can reduce the inflammation.
