Cremo Shave Cream Review
If you prefer shave creams over shave soaps, but something that is better quality than those shave creams that come in a can, then you might be interested in trying Cremo Shave cream.
This is a brushless shave cream, which simply means that you use a pea size amount of it mixed with warm water and then use your fingers to massage into your face.
Although this product builds some lather, you have to remember that it is a cream and not a soap. So don’t expect all the foamy lather you get from soaps as this has a more gel than lather like consistency.
You will also be surprised to see how well it actually cushions your face allowing the razor to gently glide over your face reducing the chances of nicks and cuts while shaving incredibly close.
It comes in a handy size tube, it is neatly packaged and offers the following features:
- Comes in a 6 fluid ounce tube.
- Its slick water activated molecules reduce nicks and cuts.
- Leaves your skin soft and smooth.
- One tube last approximately 90 days.
- Made in the USA.

What we Like About Cremo Shave Cream
There are a couple of things we really like about this shave cream. First, it has several ingredients that actually help to heal skin, providing it with necessary antioxidants and vitamins that keep your skin healthy both while shaving and afterwards.
We also like the fact that while this cream may be a bit more expensive than some of the cream brands, it lasts a lot longer and is far less expensive than some of the big name brands. It has a slight citrus smell that will help you wake up, but then quickly fades so it won’t clash with your aftershave or cologne.
Overall, I find this cream to be very rich and you will be surprised to see the results soon after you shave, leaving your skin extremely soft and smooth.
How To Apply
You should start by rubbing hot water on your face, I usually do this during my shower. As it is a very concentrated cream, you will only need a small quantity to apply. While applying the cream, you can add water to make it slippery, the cream is water activated.
The company claims that it is so effective that you could even shave against the grain without any irritation although I would not favor shaving against the hair growth for various reasons.
I don´t usually use a brush for the shaving creams but it works well even with the brush. You will have to soak the brush in water, drop a little cream in the middle of the brush and apply directly onto the face. There is no need to use a shaving bowl for it.
What Do The Customers Say?
Reviews for the Cremo Shave Cream are very good with a handful of users not finding this cream any better than other creams. However, most users have experienced the following benefits from using it:
Close Shave: Several people have felt that it gives them a closer shave than any other cream they have tried without nicks, cuts, or razor burn, and that their skin feels better and smoother than they would ever believe possible.
Razor Glides: Users really like the way this product causes the razor to just glide across their skin making the whole shaving experience more enjoyable.
Long Lasting Tube: Many of them find that just a pea size drop is more than enough to shave the entire face or even head which means that they are actually saving money since the fact that it lasts long makes it a great value for money.
All in all, if you are ready to try a shave cream that doesn’t come in a can, then the Cremo Shave Cream can be worth giving a try.
