The Philips Norelco BT5275/41 5100 Beard Trimmer is just one of the many beard trimmers designed and manufactured by the Philips Norelco company. What makes this one slightly different from most of the other trimmers in this company’s line-up is that it is designed for both trimming and detailing.

What we Like about It
Although this is not one of the most expensive trimmers on the market, there is a lot about it that we like. Let’s have a look!
The Battery: First we find that the lithium battery is great at holding a charge and isn’t given to losing juice when sitting on a shelf, so depending on how long it takes you to trim up that beard, this trimmer should last several trims before needing to be recharged.
The Dual Comb: We think that the dual sided comb for trimming and detailing is a great idea and makes for less piece of equipment for you.
We also really like the fact that the comb (or guide) snaps firmly in place so it isn’t likely to suddenly pop out causing unexpected bald spots. The combs are also slightly rounded to keep the ends from digging into your face making for a more comfortable trim.
The Setting Dial: Of course, we find the fact that you can simply dial in the setting length an extremely nice feature as it beats having multiple combs cluttering up your bathroom drawers or getting lost in that no man’s land every home has.
Ease of Cleaning: This trimmer is also easy to clean. Just rinse the head under warm water. You do need to keep in mind however, that this grooming tool is not water proof so don’t try using it in the shower to avoid cleaning those stray hairs up from the sink and counter top.
Voltage: The fact that it comes in 120 to 240 volts is a great feature. So, you don´t need to buy and carry adapters if you are traveling.
What Do The Customers Say?
Reviews for the BT5275/41 are quite positive and the main complaint most users have is that it doesn’t come with a travel bag.
However, people talk about the following benefits when using this product:
Lightweight: The lightweight makes it more comfortable to use for trimming up your beard no matter how long the trimming process may be.
Quick Charging: With so many trimmers out there taking up to 18 hours to completely charge, users really like the fact that this one can fully charge in just one hour and that once charge, the battery holds its juice for trim after trim.
Comb Holds Securely: Men enjoy that the combs firmly lock into place. In fact, one or two users even felt that they are held a bit too securely, making it more difficult to remove them.
The Philips Norelco BT5275/41 5100 trimmer appears to be a well made and functioning tool that is ideal for users who like compact trimmers without a lot of added features or a multitude of accessories.
